Virus IV was a Belgian heavy and power metal band formed in 2005. Maggy Luyten joined the band as vocalist and remained part of the project until 2012.

The band released its album Dark Sun in 2008 and developed a strong live presence, performing at festivals and sharing stages with major rock and metal acts. Maggy also contributed lyrics to several songs.

Virus IV was an important chapter in her career, connecting her Belgian roots with the wider European metal scene and leading to further collaborations, including the creation of Epysode with guitarist Samuel Arkan.
