Maggy & Friends began as a special acoustic live project in 2018. The idea was simple: bring together friends and musicians from different parts of Maggy's musical journey and create something spontaneous, personal and acoustic.

The project originally grew around acoustic versions of songs from Nightmare and other parts of Maggy's repertoire, including a special performance opening for Kip Winger.

More than a fixed band, Maggy & Friends became a space for musical encounters, unexpected collaborations and a different side of Maggy's voice — more intimate, playful and free.

The project also played an important role in the story that eventually led to Akoustik Thrill and The Prize.
